SAIS Career Panel & Reception

As we gear up for the upcoming academic year, the Latin American Studies Program (LASP) would like to extend a special invitation to all interested students. On Wednesday, August 29, from 6:00pm-7:00pm, a panel of SAIS alumni will comment on their diverse career paths and the job-market value of understanding global challenges through regional experience.

Alumni panelists:

• Stephanie Eder ’11 – IDB Invest, Investment Officer, Investment Funds and Financial Institutions. Previously, Financial Markets Associate, and with the Integration and Trade Sector, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Austrian citizenship.

• Stephanie Mulhern Ogorzalek ’15 – U.S. Department of State, Senior Policy Advisor, Secretary’s Office of Global Women’s Issues (S/GWI). Previously, Foreign Affairs Officer, Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, Offices of African Affairs, Western Hemisphere Affairs, and Policy Planning.

• Alexander “Alex” Schober ’17 – Frontier Strategy Group (FSG), Analyst, Southern Cone. Previously, Macroeconomics and Political Risk intern with Callaway Capital Management, Washington, DC, and Policy and Regulatory Risk Intern, Cefeidas Group, Buenos Aires.
  

• Alfredo “Alfie” Zarate ‘11 – Deloitte Energy & Infrastructure Advisory, Senior Manager, Federal Energy and Infrastructure Group. Previously, Senior Manager, Excelerate Energy, Houston, TX and Associate, Energy & Infrastructure Group, Crédit Agricole CIB, New York.
